Diverco's founder Mr Peter Dodgson
Peter Dodgson developed core principles of selling businesses
Peter Dodgson developed a very personal approach to selling a business during his 45 years of building Diverco.
He understood how important people are in selling any business, often quoting his sage advice of “overlook your staff at your peril”.
Peter’s diligence in seeking a new owner to carry on and develop the ethos of running the business proved vital to each smooth transgression of ownership.
He took great pleasure in seeing the future success of many businesses, after the successful sale.
He expanded the core principles of selling a business by introducing the concept of face to face meetings with an experienced business colleague. This role evolved into our current regional directors, whose aim is to provide the answer to the question “How do I sell my business?”
Peter’s solution ensured that each regional director added his great experience in obtaining the optimum result for Diverco’s clients. The strong team also ensured any director could also draw on the knowledge of his peers within Diverco. This ensured that Diverco developed into the very best team, offering you a very personal and confidential service.
Peter wrote an interesting and important article for business owners entitled:
